Modern Spanish Manor
New construction is always a pleasure as it allows the designer to be attached to the project from the get-go. For Modern Spanish Manor, Allison was able to further detail the architect’s plan by calling out all architectural details and finishes for both the interior and exterior including the hardscape and pool design for the lush, backyard oasis. It’s a goal of Allison’s to ignore some of the cookie-cutter design formulas so often seen in new builds, and guide the client to make educated decisions that work with their aesthetics and lifestyle. Many of this homes’ show stopping features such as the striking foyer chandelier, and hand painted “tile” stair risers were designed by Allison and executed by independent craftspeople. With a graphic black and white base palette, this home draws from both Spanish and contemporary design, successfully marrying old world style and present day technology.
