FROM FORGOTTEN TO FARMHOUSE

This Fashion Square bungalow was stuck in time before Allison got her hands on it. With a serious extension and down-to-the-studs renovation, Allison transformed a house time long forgot into a fresh, flowing and fun place to call home. With its additional 1000 square feet, the new and improved home required a complete redesign of the floor plan reconfiguring the Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, moving the front door, as well as adding a Foyer and a Primary Suite! In adding to the front of the house, Allison opted to keep the existing brick facade of the home as part of the new Living Room adding texture along with a charming art niche. The wood paneled study with wallpaper ceiling became a swanky bar when the new owners moved in. To accentuate the modern farmhouse, Allison wrapped the house in ship lap and board-and-batten siding and used a farmhouse color palette of black, white and natural wood tones both inside and out.
