Mid-Century Mod
This previously unremarkable Valley ranch house was reborn as a delightful Mid Century bungalow. As architectural designer, Allison removed a massive dual fireplace to reconfigure the kitchen, reworked the primary bath and closets, vaulted ceilings and engineered the addition of large patio doors to open the dining area to the outdoors. The clients were smitten by 1950s art and decor so Allison had fun mixing the owners’ pieces with new Mid-Century furnishings as she designed the interiors of the entire home. After removing a ridiculously large pool from the yard, Allison designed the hardscape for an entertainer’s paradise complete with lounge furniture and fit pit. Next up, a spa…coming soon…
