Collector's ABode
With its outstanding curb appeal and excellent floor plan, Collectors Abode needed desperately to be rescued from the 90’s with its’ “beige everything” interiors and updated in a way that would still preserve much of its’ original character and showcase the clients’ unique art pieces. Allison hears repeatedly from her clients with older homes that even though they are ready for a refresh, they want to be mindful of the traditional style of their homes as well as the carefully cared for details they’ve grown to love such as the Abode’s welcoming red brick porch. After living with a sea of neutrals for so many years, the clients requested COLOR for the main living areas and an upbeat palette of blues and golds was put into place. On the reverse, with the newly raised ceilings in the upstairs primary suite, a spa like color story of whites and pale sea tones was developed to promote a place of serenity and sanctuary.
